Hi we stayed at the W Foshay and got upgraded to a suite (wife is Platinum with SPG) for my 50th birthday celebration and got a fantastic large room on the 23rd floor with a wrap around view of downtown mpls. Had friends up to the suite to celebrate before going to an awesome dinner at Manny's Steakhouse. The beds at the W are the best and this one was no exception. We've stayed at W hotels in Atlanta, NY, and New Orleans and this was as good as any of them - cool architecture and a great party bar in the Living Room!

This hotel might be the nicest W in the entire chain. really cool architecture and lots of original features. The room was well appointed and the W beds are always the best. I tried to eat at the steakhouse Mannys but they were full and the concierge couldn't do anything about that. not very W in that sense, but ""whatever"" I guess.
