We spent the seek of Oct. 26-30th at the Red Roof Inn. We were skeptical at first, since we had read some not so good reviews. But were very pleased with the accomodations; The staff was very friendly and helpful; the young girl at the front desk even called our room to see if everything was satisfactiry. the room was VERY clean, with what seemed and looked like new carpet. The continental breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, toast and jelly, donuts, coffee and juice. Room had mini refrig., microwave, wireless internet, and coffeemaker. Bathroom WAS small, but ok for a motel. We would most definitely visit there again.

Would definitely stay again. It was within walking distance of the heart of Gatlinburg (which was great to not have to drive everywhere). The hotel was clean, the woman at the front desk was helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was a plus (make your own waffles...mmmm).

This motel is great! We have stayed in Gatlinburg several times and have paid a much higher rate for a hotel and been disappointed. We got a great rate, the people were friendly and helpful, and the place was quiet and clean. Would definitely recommend this motel! The Red Roof can be a little hard to find since it sits back between buildings. Its on your left if coming from the main road onto ski mountain road, past the Family Inn.Oh, they let your pet stay for free too!!

Good choice for the price if you just need somewhere to sleep. A little off the beaten path, but not a bad walk to all the action of Gatlinburg. Our room was a King with a gas fireplace. Fireplace was on a timer, however, you could not turn the pilot light off so it ran all the time, which you could smell and hear. Overall, decor and layout was nice. The key did not always work. It would take several attempts to open the door. Staff was very friendly kept the lobby area and breakfast area very clean.
