The room had been painted but edging tape had been left on the doors, the wall behind the door had a gouge out of it that needed filling and the lock on the balcony door was bad. For the price however the room was clean enough and close to major attractions. Probably would not stay here again - other discount motels right in the same area.

Unsanitary and Scary

If it wouldnt have been 2am I would have left and went somewhere else. Booked the room through the online travel agency. The travel agency charged my credit card. Then the hotel clerk insisted my reserved room wasnt paid for although I had a receipt from the agency showing it was paid. I was too tired to argue. Was charged by the hotel and the travel agency - two weeks later I cant get Days Inn nor the travel agency to refund (contacted the Better Business Bureau). The sheets, pillows and carpet were covered in unidentifiable stains. HUGE cigarette burns were all over the bed spreads which looked like rags and I wouldnt touch the shower with a 12 foot pole! Was surprised when checking in at 2am that a line was forming behind me... the variety of persons showing up for rooms did not appear to be travelers but people who wanted to rent a room by the hour. Total and complete nightmare of a hotel and consumer experience. You couldnt pay me to stay at this hotel again.
