We just returned from 3 nights at this hotel. It was an older building but completely renovated inside. The room was impeccably clean, the beds comfortable and the price was affordable. The staff is eager to please the guests and encourages one to let them know of any needs that they many have overlooked. The location is on a main road but we were not disturbed by traffic noise.

I visited this Inn in May, 2009. We were happy with our visit and returned again this month. We were given the roon next to the one we had before, and I was again pleased with our stay. The room we were given (#148) was clean and smelled nice. One of the staff members stayed up to wait for us and had the ac on low to cool the room for us. I thought that was very thoughtful and it was well appreciated. The housekeeper did a good job cleaning our room. My husband and I come to the beach in Daytona at least 1 - 2 times a month and we have stayed at several different places, most of the time, we don't feel comfortable that the place is clean, but not here. We were so comfortable that we didn't want to check out. The beds were so comfortable, I wanted to take them home :) We will diffently be back. The motel is obiviously still making updates, landscaping is underway, and I only expect my next visit to be even better. If you want an inexpensive stay, and only need the basics, this is the place for you.

My husband and I rented a room at this hotel and inside the room looks exactly like the pictures online. The room was clean and the bathroom was all newly remodeled. The furnishings were good quality wood and the beds were comfortable. The amenities are basic, the cable worked great and we were greeted and treated nicely by the staff. The price is right for what your get. We would stay again when we need a room near the beach and don't want to pay beachfront prices. We were only minutes away from A1A and beach access, so why pay more.

This place was so much better than I expected. The staff was very friendly even though a little quirky. Location was convenient to everything. Parking near the beach is free in Daytona anyway so you don't have to have a hotel on the beach if you want to save money. The wi-fi works in your room :)
I went with a friend for Spring Break. Make sure you don't go during bike week though, unless you like that sort of thing. We caught the tail end of that and it is crazy. And eat at Pub 44.
You can tell they recently renovated the rooms cuz they are pretty nice and clean. The bathroom is small but the housekeeper did a great job. Overall I was impressed and happy at the great deal I got. Just FYI the housekeeper leaves an envelope for tips and the going rate I got online is $2 a day. I tipped her an extra dollar though cuz she gave us extra towels. I also brought my pet rats and the housekeeper was very nice about them. It really was a nice central location. -
