The suite was beautiful, but we had read that the service was quite lacking. We arrived to find a TV that didn't work and air conditioning that wasn't up to par. We made a phone call and within minutes, everything was corrected. I was very relieved that service wasn't living up to the hype. The housekeepers were friendly as was security. The only issue I had was that the cushions on the patio furniture was beyond worn....downright dirty and torn. Otherwise, absolutely excellent!

I tried the Meridian after finding a deal from Tzoo. I was going to Vegas for part business and part vacation, so I figured I'd give it a try. For me, the bottom line on this hotel was this: Pretty much the only thing I liked about it was the rooms.... They were nice and well-appointed. The pictures you see on the website are spot on. The washer/dryer and the kitchen was a fantastic convenience that you don't get many places. But things pretty much ended there. The hotel is located 2 long blocks off the strip, which isn't bad... but when you are going to NAB and walking to and from the monorail everyday, the distance was aggravating. They should have a shuttle to the strip that leaves every 15 minutes or 1/2 hour. That would make things MUCH better. Also, I found the service to be of low quality. Both times I called for cabs, it took a minimum of 20 minutes to get to the hotel. When it's 5am and you need to get to the airport, that is not a good thing. Also, maid service was spotty. 2 days in a row our room did not get cleaned.... 1 day we called and they did come to clean... the other they didn't. After calling the front desk to complain, we got no apologies and worst of all, no service. Other nitpicks: Internet does not work from the rooms. Both my father and I could not use the cable modems in either room on our computers. Only wifi worked, but you had to be near the pool for a decent signal. Speaking of the pool.... it was nice, but the chairs around the pool were mostly dirty and or had cigarette burns in the pads.

I share a two bedroom two bath unit with a business associate. Sounded weird at first but it was like have 2 completely seperate hotel rooms with private baths. With a bonus Living room, dining room and Gourmet Kitchen!
The price for the 2 Bedroom worked out to be much less than getting two rooms at some boxy hotel. -
