  While the accommodations are minimalistic, the building construction was frightening. During a 5 minute shower, we learned there was no cold water available to either the shower or the sink as the water temperature steadily increased to scalding and turning the hot water completely off did not solve the problem. When speaking with the night clerk, he admitted the condition is the same throughout the hotel, it has been that way since it was constructed 1.5 yrs ago and there's nothing they can do. He could switch us to another room but there was no guarantee there would be cold water available. At check out, no offer was made to reduce the rate, despite the ""100% Guarantee"" advertised. In addition to the plumbing issue, there was no elevator inspection certificate posted. I have contacted corporate and will contact local building inspectors to ensure that no one is badly hurt during their stay at a hotel that never should have opened for business.
