We stayed 3 nights and overall it was a good stay. It was really nice to have a microwave and fridge The only problem we had was a lot of banging around upstairs at midnight one night of our stay but the staff quickly took care of the problem once we let them know. then it started up again so the staff had to call the police to take care of the situation. But it was taken care of. The elevator was a little rough. The room was very clean and had no complaints there which is unusual for most hotels in general. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast area downstairs but not overly impressed with the food (typical la quinta breakfast). There are two different malls within about two exits from the hotel one on 75 and the other on LBJ Freeway. Studio Movie grill is a good place to check out about two exits from hotel also. Dispite the ugly recliner and carpet in the room this is definatly one of the top 5 hotels We've stayed at. Worth the stay although we wish the price was a little bit lower (then again who doesn't).

I stayed at the La Quinta LBJ for four nights in late August of 2008. The overall atmosphere of the hotel and of the room was pleasant and welcoming, despite the signs in the parking lot encouraging guests to be careful to lock their cars and hide their belongings (always good advice no matter where you're staying). I had one of the balcony rooms, equipped with a balcony large enough for a couple of people to stand around smoking or chatting but not large enough for anything else. The patio door was equipped with very substantial curtains, which was good because the parking lot is kept lit like a landing strip at night. The bed was more toward the firm side of things, and the linens were nicer than I expected in a hotel of this sort- sateen striped cotton, and I'd guess a 300-350 thread count, topped with a woven cotton blanket and a normal mid range hotel comforter. The air conditioner was more than adequate; I had the thermostat set slightly below the halfway mark and was very comfortable. The breakfast was great! Easily the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had. I didn't try the waffles, but the biscuits and gravy were quite good and the orange juice wasn't watered down, which I've encountered at other hotels. The cereal was fresh, too. The pool and hot tub looked wonderful, but I never managed to get a free evening to try either of them out. I only encountered one odd thing at this hotel- I asked to store my binoculars in the hotel safe and was informed there was no safe. Since there are also no in-room safes, you may wish to leave any really nice jewelry or irreplaceable documents at home.

I would stay again!!! The location was perfect for my trip because it was just a few yards from were I was to attend the meeting. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was always clean. The business center had only 1 computer with internet access. The continental breakfast was very good. Places to eat: Subway sandwiches right next door, there is Quiznos and a McDonalds less than a block away. Transportation: Super Shuttle from airport for $18.00 not part of the hotel)) For the price, it was perfect!!!

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was outstanding, everything was stocked, and there was plenty of everything. Hotel Staff was very nice. You can pay a whole lot more for a room that is not nearly this nice in Dallas. The only drawback is that you will miss the hotel the first time you drive past it, but that is because of the road design and not a fault of the hotel.

I enjoyed my one night stay. Everything was up to date and very roomy and comfortable. good lighting in the restroom for me to apply my makeup/hair. A big desk and executive chair in room. also a reclining chair. i liked having a small frig, microwave and coffee maker as well. Very comfortable place to stay. I will definitely stay there again.
