The first room we receieved upon arrival was not very appealing and the air conditioner was not working properly. After the first night we requested a new room and the second room was much better and the overall quality of the second room was good. The hotel is undergoing renovations so much of the hotel lobby looked like a construction site.

first room had holes in the bathroom. second room was not what we asked for at all. finally they gave us an ocean front view. room was a little on the small side. oh, and the kicker the linen smelled like mildew and the were visible signs of roaches. yes, roaches. crawling in the cabinets. room service was rude did not give extra clean towels. had to chase them down in the hallway. bed was uncomfortable had to buy new linen for the bed. patio funiture was very filthy. and a/c was very loud.

THE BEACH IS PRIVATE PROPERTY AND YOU HAVE TO RENT THEIR CHAIRS AND UMBRELLAS FOR THE BEACH. THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW YOU TO PUT YOUR OWN CHAIR OR UMBRELLA OR TO HAVE YOUR OWN COOLER, THERE IS A SIGN THAT SAIDS NO CHAIR UMBRELLAS,SHEETS,DRINKS,FOOD,COOLERS,THERE WAS A GUY THAT TOLD ME. "MY BOSS WANTS YOU TO SPEND THE MONEY HERE. THE A/C IN THE ROOMS WAS VERY NOISY, I TOLD THE PERSONAL AT THE HOTEL AND PROMISED TO SEND SOMEONE TO FIX IT AND NEVER DID, THE POOL WAS VERY NASTY, TIS THE WORST EXPIRIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD

I would never stay here again! The hotel was dirty and still under renovation. Our room was filthy and we had to switch. The walls were stained, the paint in the bathtub peeling, and the sheets dirty. Our second room was cleaner, however, there was no fridge, microwave, or coffee maker as stated online. The wall was nothing more than a piece of unpainted plywood and the furniture was squeezed in to the point we had to crawl over the beds to get to the balcony door. Both rooms we were in did not have a phone, smoke alarm, or evacuation plan posted. The pool area was littered with ciggerate butts and the pool was still dirty from the day before at 8:00 am. There was a charge for parking, both valet and self-park even though online it stated that parking was free. It was not within walking distance to any restaurants as indicated on-line either. There was a resort fee per night that was not mentioned anywhere. The staff was not accommodating or helpful. I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me!

This was not a good hotel. They first put us in a room where the mirror was busted and taped back together. That wasn't even the scary part. The scary part was that the lock had been busted off the door. I asked to be moved. They said they weren't sure if they could move us, but were finally able to. The new room was not that much better, since our previous room was oceanside and this one now had a view of the parking lot. The electronic lock on that door was broken, so every time we would leave the room, we would get locked out. One night we got locked out around midnight. I asked the manager on duty for a new key. He was a complete jerk to us. He kept asking me if someone was in the room that could let us in. I told him that there was not. He was completely rude. He finally came up to let us into the room and couldn't open the door either. He finally had to find someone to come and work on the lock. That guy was a real charmer, too. Once he let us into the room, he suggested that we go ahead and feel free to change our clothes in front of him. The parking was NOT free, as it says on their website. It is $5 for valet, every time you leave, you get to pay again. I complained to the front desk, who told me I could pay $7 for my entire stay and could park across the street. The elevators were so tiny and the entire hotel smelled of urine. I wouldn't stay here if they paid me. Please AVOID at all costs.
