What I got was a room with a TV that worked, a bed that was comfortable, towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo, free internet, friendly service and a great price! If you want the Ritz, pay for it. If you want a place to sleep while you spend the rest of the time visiting family, or site seeing, this place will work! The price was fantastic.

we stayed at the hotel from july 3 to july 4. we drove in from hearshey park . my wife, I and 4 year old son. the check in was fast. plenty of free parking outside. the room was clean, air conditiner worked well. the bed was ok, cable channels ( plenty). my wife brought her laptop and was able to use wi-fi within seconds and it was free. the room even had mini fridge. the only problem had is with shower - took us a while to figure out with pressure and hot/cold water. i hope the change the showers though. but it was a good room, the price is great and it';s close to all attractions, shops. amish country. i would definitely stay there again

I have stayed in this area many different times and I have never had a problem. This time all I had was a problem. As soon as we checked in the receptionist informed me that they were undergoing renovations and wanted to know if we had any allergies. Then we got our room key and went to the room only to find out that it looked like someone else was staying in it. We immediately went to the desk and was sent to another room, this one had no working A/C so we were switched to a third room. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but the sink counter looked like everyone had put out the cigarettes on it (all burn marks). The bed was on 2X4s, which were sticking out and dangerous. The outlets had exposed wires and the smoke detectors were falling off the walls. I have a 1yr. old and this scared me. Then they brought a portacrib that was unsafe and falling apart. That was it I finally decided that I would check out and find accomidations on my own. I found a great privately owned hotel for the same price and no issues. The hotel then tried to charge me for a two night stay, even though we immediately checked out. Apparently you must give them 24 hour notice, well after several calls and threats to turn them into the fire marshall/building department they agreed to refund these charges. Do NOT waste your time and safety with this hotel you will be sorry. At any price this hotel is not safe or sanitary and the staff was not very helpful. It seems that they know that this place is a dive.
