Dirty towels, dirty sheets, afraid to walk on the floor... We had to change rooms because the water didn't work. On the positve side the staff was friendly and accomodating. More than happy to help. I felt like I was on a cruise ship because the shower stall had water between the floor and the liner. The floor of the shower stall was not stable.
If you are looking for a hotel that is right on the beach and has air conditioning then this is your place. Bring your own towels and sheets. I couldn't wait to take a shower when I got home!
It served it's purpose for us...we were right on the beach and were were there to party. It is obvious that people live there and some of our "neigbors" had dogs and birds. Our first room smelled like wet dog. If you want to bring a pet the good news is...they accomodate you! I will never go back! The only reason we stayed was because we were there to drink and they don't give refunds.
I did speak to the owner before I left. She just took it over a year ago. She has been making improvements slowly. She just put the A/C in recently. The pool only had a few chairs and the Jacuzzi was covered with wood. I was there for the beach but the place was trashed! Not worth half of what they charge. -

We arrived real early and the staff at the hotel was so nice. Check-in wasn't until 2pm but we arrived before nine so the front desk clerk called the owner and since I had traveled so far with 3 kids she wanted to get us in a room just as soon as one was ready. The owner came in and gave me a choice of room.Because two of my children were under the age of 6 instead of putting us on the third floor she gave us a first floor room right on the beach at no extra cost. It was nice to have someone go out of their way for me instead of the other way around.

THIS HOTEL EXPERIENCE WAS NOT GOOD. I FELT SO UNCOMFORTABLE THAT I WORE SHOES IN THE SHOWER AND SLEPT IN THE BED WITH MY CLOTHES ON ALONG WITH PUTTING A T SHIRT ON MY PILLOW AS THE PILLOW CASE. THE SHEETS HAD BROWN STAINS IN THEM AND THE BED WAS VERY HARD. THE WALLS LOOKED LIKE TERMITES HAD BEEN EATING AT THE BOTTOM OF THEM AND THE ROOM DIDNT EVEN HAVE A CLOCK. THE PHONE ONLY HAD BUTTONS FOR NUMBERS AND ALL THE REST HAD FALLEN OUT.... I THOUGHT IT WAS GONE BE COOL BECAUSE WE DIDNT EXPECT TO BE IN THE ROOM ANYWAY BUT THE LITTLE TIME THAT WE WERE WE WISHED WE WERE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

No free breakfast, indoor pool/whirlpool out of service, no maid service, mildew in bathroom, rug not vacuumed, no phonebook, but phone not working anyway. Dataport useless for most people. Ocean view only asset. Would consider staying again if THEY PAID US!!!
