  With 3 tweens and teens, we always appreciate the extra room of a Residence Inn. The hotel and room was clean and nicely appointed. Location: directly on the Freedom Trail, near the USS Constitution but away from the hub-bub of Boston itself. CONS: pool was somewhat small but OK for smaller crowds. Limited options for Dining spots that are walk-able from the hotel.

  This was our first time staying in Boston. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. When we got lost on the subway we called the hotel to get directions and the hotel attendant stayed on the line with us until we walked in their front doors. Breakfast was good and always fresh!

  The full breakfast is a great value. It is within walking distance of the US Navy yard where the US Constitution is docked. It is in walking distance of Bunker Hill and the North side of Boston. We took the water taxi which is $1.70 to get to the center of town. Be careful because there are two water taxi companys. One for $1.70 and the other is $10.00. The one we took is next store to the US Navy Yard. Each morning we could hear the cannon go off at the Navy yard.
