At one time this place must have been something! Now it's a bit dated, but it's still a nice place to stay. Great indoor pool area; real lap swim lanes of sufficient length. Basic continental breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms (though AC is a bit loud!). Second floor is a bit of a pain due to sprawling nature of layout. (front desk told us to park near entrance B, which was of course packed out... turned out we were much closer to entrance C... so look at map for yourself!) If you need access to TV's AV inputs (games, e.g.), you have to ask at front desk for a remote that allows access, so do that up front.

If we had only known this hotel was not horrible like some people have commented, we would have stayed our entire visit here. Hotel staff was extremely professional and courteous. The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub were well cleaned. The indoor pool is heated to a comfortable temperature. The pools are not small and can accommodate a lot of people. Lifeguards were on duty which is great. The rooms were comfortable, not smelly, and I heard no noise from other guests. This hotel is inexpensive compared to others in the area and has a homey feel. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Just remembered that I forgot to write a review after staying there for a whole week over the Christmas Holidays. We were very satisfied. Loved the fact that the entire facility is Non-smoking. Our room was on the first floor, recently renovated. Furnishing were fine (my husband liked the reclliner) and King bed was comfortable. Bathroom is adequate. Small but functional. IF you are looking for an upscale hotel like a Hilton this is not the place. I challenge you to find one for this price! However, it WAS very affordable, very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was convenient, downstairs bar great for an evening nightcap. Staff was congenial and helpful. The ONLY negative thing I can say is that the desk clerk on duty when we first arrived at 8PM was NOT very friendly nor informative. But he was the only person we encountered who was not customer oriented. WILL be back!

not worth the money

If I just list the issues lets see, the card key wouldn't work at first to let us in the hotel, the remote didn't work to the TV, this is a NO SMOKING FACILITY no matter that you reserved a smoking room, the pool closed to early, unless you wanted to go to a sit down over priced steak dinner you only have McDonalds, Rally's, A&W and Long John silvers. DON"T eat at the A&W, shorted us food and cost us 15.00 for a coney, fry, drink and a lg shake. Why have windows that open when the sign inside says " for your own safty don't sleep with the window open", twice I was waken by the person in the next room snoring. There has to be someplace closer to the hospital that is cheaper then 79.04 a night.....
