Just stayed here one night. First off, sleep number beds are not a good idea in a hotel. First too hard, then softened it, woke up with a back ache, made it harder, noisy as it blows up. These might be good in a home, where you have time to figure it out, but not in a hotel. I was there on a Sat night. All night long i heard noisy people in the hall. 2 am, 3 am, 4 am. YIKES. People are rude. Otherwise, my room was clean, the shower was great. The tv had limited channels and no pay per view which I like in a hotel.

We have stayed here many times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, but some could use some updating. The restaurant and lounge have many food and drink options. Located close to the expressway. Close to Downtown Grand Rapids, Convention center and hospitals.

Stayed Aug. 17-19,2009 our room had mold around soap holder, dust on lamp shades and head board tops, looked like the room hadnt been used in along time and was never checked since. The lamp shade needed to be replaced it was ripped and falling off and the faucite in bathroom needed maint. attention. I wouldnt recommend this motel to anyone if it was FREE.

Stayed for one night and had a good time. The location was convenient to downtown and Alpine. Rooms are clean and nice with sleep number bed. The bed was not as comfortable as expected; it did not matter what number the bed was set at, it felt like sleeping on an air mattress. Staff very polite and helpful.

I stayed there two years ago and I had no problems. This time, the service that I remember from the last time I was there went downhill and I lost at least one item while I was there and they never got back to me on whether or not they found it. I would recommend the hotel for maybe two nights. But beyond that, I would say, make sure you have everything near your luggage. This time also, while I was there, on my floor, kids were going around and not listening to the adults and be a little more quiet.
