I was very satisfied with this hotel, very clean friendly staff from front desk to cleaning staff. The person front desk always greeted us by name when coming or leaving. CLose to great shopping, cable car line and F-Line just a short walk. Don't go expecting AC n your room or hotel, but wiht San Fran's great weather you won't miss it. Enjoyed my stay and would definelty stay here again.

The Kensington Park is in a wonderful location and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely -- the linens are very nice and the beds and pillows very comfortable. The closet is roomy and there is ample storage space. It was a great place to come back to after a long day of being a tourist.

i spent 5 nights in kensington park hotel while on a family vacation with my young duaghter. we were delighted and charmed the minute we walked in the door. The staff was courteous, location was perfect and rooms were clean and well cared for. We had complimentary fresh coffee in the morning and Sherry in the lobby in the afternoons. We absolutely loved this hotel and look forward to staying there again.

We spent 4 days there and found the hotel to be elegant, charming, friendly, and a real San Francisco feel, since it is right off Union Square. I highly recommend getting the corner king room, as you have windows on two sides, both with a fabulous view. The staff was very friendly and the amenities were lovely.

We were very excited to arrive in California. San Francisco is a great town! With that said, when we checked into the hotel, the staff was not too accomodating. The water was shut off for 2 hours when we arrived. Unfortunately our room was in the 80's and there was no air, the window could only be open about 2 inches which gave no air flow. The bedding was fabulous and beds comfy, if I didn't have to sweat all night! May be better in the winter time even though there was plenty of noise with the open window. The lines were busy the whole time to the front desk. Not sure what was up with that. Coffee very seldom filled and will cost you for airport transfers (usually these are supplied by the hotels where I live?) Great location makes up for all the problems with the room I guess but will probably try to find another hotel next time. Room very small- not a good bang for the buck! No continental breakfast. The owners may need to take a trip to the French Quarter Inn in Charleston, SC to see what hospitality and amenities are!
