If you're given a room on the second floor, smoking and non-smoking rooms are placed alternately one next to the other for some reason, with some (as in our case) that have room-room entry doors. These doors do not provide a sufficient barrier to smokers next door and will easily seep through. We found ourselves waking up in the middle of the night feeling like we were in the same rooms as our neighbors. Even our clothing smelled of smoke the following day. Furthermore, take note that the management here still uses a Bartizan slide machine when taking a credit card. That means they have a hard copy of your entire credit card number and exp. date. That may not be of concern to some people, but I failed to note they didn't write in a dollar total on the slip when I signed it (it was very late - I was tired) so in the morning when I checked out, I found out they charged me almost $$ more than the advertised rate I could have reserved it for on Travelocity or on their own website Travelodge.com. That was just insult to injury given the night we had. Management had little sympathy for either issue.
