What a wonderful pampering place! From the witty remarks of the doorman welcoming us back after a day of sightseeing to the lovely pot of hot chocolate with fresh whipped cream delivered to our room for breakfast each morning( as well as our choice of daily papers; we chose the New York Times ) all personnel seemed to be interested in our comfort. Concierge was knowledgeable and accessible. When we developed some bathroom plumbing issues the hotel responded immediately and issue was resolved quickly. Our room was lovely and quite spacious. Cable car located outside lobby door, but we found it just as easy to walk to the Wharf. China town is next door and several cute eateries are nearby. We were sad to leave, but traveling to the airport in the Omni's spacious Town Car made it easier to accept. We are looking forward to a return trip .

We decided to stay at the Omni because we wanted a central location in the city. It turned out to be more than even we hoped for. The location was perfect. Cable car stops right in front of the door. The entire hotel exudes classic San Francisco. Everyone was very accomodating; from the doorman who opened the door as soon as he saw us coming, to the bellman who helped w/travel directions, to the front desk staff who answered all our questions w/patience and even gave us free cable car passes, to the maid who kept our room clean and even filled the ice bucket in our room every night. After our experiences with the Omni in San Francisco and LA, we will seek out this hotel chain where ever we go.

We were really pickey about where we would be staying for our wedding and the Omni exceeded all expectations. We can't say enough about the front desk--all concierge staff which is a very smart idea. But, especially X who went out of his way to make our stay fabulous! He even met us at city hall as we arrived for our ceremony to give us a beautifully written note honoring our momentous occasion! The facility was very nice and the room upgrade was terrific, but the PEOPLE are what really make this place special. We are already planning our first anniversary trip back.

My stay at the hotel was amazing. EVERYONE there added value. From the door men who greeted you upon arrival each day with 'Welcome back Ladies' to the people working at the front desk who gave suggestions on everything from shopping to city tours. The rooms were huge with a decent view. The beds were heavenly, never have I slept so soundly in a hotel room. Tthe marble in the bathroom provided an extra level of luxury. The hotel is sits in a central location. It's a stop on the California trolley line and walking distance from China Town. It's an uphill walk to Union Square so I definitely suggest the trolley. I can not say enough great things about this hotel. It was DEFINITELY worth the money and I plan to return. Don't for get to register on their website for little extras during your stay.

The Omni was a wondeful hotel. The staff was very helpful, from an easy early check in (after a 10 hour flight from Seoul this was so very very appreciated!), to directions to local sights and assistance with using the BART. The room was very nice as well, far more spacious and comfortable than the room I had in the Grand Hyatt on my last trip to the Bay Area. Over all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet comfortable retreat in the heart of San Francisco.
