I don't know who is giving this place 4 or 5 stars, but they either own the place or are blind. One star at MOST. I stayed there one night week of 9 Nov 2009, checked out, and won't ever stay there again. Cigarette butts outside rooms, threadbare and dirty carpets, paper-thin sheets and worn out bed covering, mold in bath rooms: you get the picture. I could recommend this place if you're drunk and contemplating sleeping in your car or in a park. I'm not trying to be mean, but the owners need to invest money in their property or get out of the motel business. Does Ramada ever inspect their franchises? From this place I don't think so... Upside is friendly front desk staff, and rooms are inexpensive. Downside is rooms are dirty and not worth even the little they charge.

Accomodations were not as booked - no refrigerator or microwave in room. Of two keys, only one worked and only once. Had to go to the office numerous times to have the key re set. Maintenance was supposed to come fix the problem with the key and they never came. Sink did not drain properly. Could not get a refund for one night's stay we did not need. However, staff was friendly.

I had higher expectations for the Ramada name...There was luke warm water for our showers, the rooms had peeling paint on many of the walls, the ac unit was loud, the pool had green water...the cabaret right out front... But there was a Waffle House next door to the cabaret, you can never go wrong at the Waffle House...and Arizona Mills Mall within walking distance...in the evening. Not good to attempt in the 115 degree heat of the average summer day. The staff was friendly and helpful but not sure it compensated enough for the basic disarray.

The hotel was perfect. It was clean and comfortable and the room was much bigger than anticipated. I was surprised to find that it did not smell. It was a smoking room, but I am not a smoker , the person I was traveling with is. No qualms at all! Would definitely stay there again!.

The location of the hotel is close to great Phoenix attractions from the Phoenix Zoo to a variety of shopping malls. There is also a good variety of restaurants close by, some within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast has quite a bit to offer and was constantly restocked to ensure guests had the same choice if they were an early bird of if they decided to sleep in. The good news about the hotel stops there. The hotel is located on a busy street and can only be accessed from one direction. The hotel has a ""Cabaret"" in the parking lot with a lot of late night traffic and unruly clientele. The hotel did not have the room we reserved because a guest extended there stay and the front desk did not want to tell them that there room was already booked and they needed to switch. My fiance and I received a room with two fulls instead of the one king requested leaving us with a small shared bed and one unused. The rooms were not very neat and cleaned to the most basic of standards. The hotel meets the most basic of travel needs but did not provide anything beyond that. If you are looking for something beyond a safe place to sleep and shower I would search elsewhere.
