Nice room -- great air conditioning! It was so hot outside that we considered staying in the room all day! Great location to USC! Easy walking distance to the campus. We ate at USC and University Village and took DASH downtown to Little Tokyo and Chinatown. Very convenient!

The Vagabond Inn is located less than two blocks away from USC, which was convenient for us. The people there are great and so accommodating. Our room was quite comfortable and we slept well.It's more of a motel, with lots of parking outside your door. Theneighborhood is not the best, butwe anticipated worse, since it is an urban university. The restauranthad good food and horrible service.We plan to stay at the VagabondInn again, but will never eat in thatrestaurant! Proximity to USC wasmy absolute top priority in selectingthis hotel and I was extremely satisfied.

Stayed here on USC busuiness because the Radisson was booked. The front desk was no no-nonsense, efficient. There is no one to help w/your bags, just a dolly so if you have lots of bags, you need a ground floor room. The rooms were clean, good firm beds, shampoo and shower caps in bathroom. Carpet looked like it should be shampooed but it was vacuumed well. Hotel next to 24 hr. eating places convenient. Restaurant on premises- bad service.
