We have stayed at the Parkwood before, and will do it again. It's a place we can stay with our dog and not get hassled. The park like setting is nice to look out on, and the dog area is very dog friendly. It's not fancy, but clean and comfortable. The rooms are roomy and easy to get around in. I especially like the private decks and being able to open the back door without having to worry about someone popping in that door. We felt very safe there and never heard another dog fuss or other people, but knew they were there cause they were full. The elevator was very helpful for both the dog and my husband since both have trouble with stairs due to disablilities.

We booked this ""inn"" because it was relatively inexpensive, but we know that can be a gamble. I was afraid to sit on the couch and take off my shoes. We had a kitchenette with an oven, one of our main factors in choosing PWI, but no cooking utensil, no pans or pots! So we had to go buy pans to cook with or eat out. Everything else was expensive or already booked up. I agree with the other review, book early.
