  A romantic getaway where the hotel environment and ambiance is a major part of the experience and becomes a big part of our memories doesn't happen too often. Not at the Lake Placid Lodge, we loved where we stayed and ate just as much as the surrounding area. The surrounding area offers so much to do and see and it was nice to top it off with beautiful accommodations, ambiance and exceptional service. Lake Placid Lodge will go down as a regular destination rather than just another option.
