Room and space are decent except few things that surprised us. There is no shampoo and lotion. We called front desk and they gave us 3 little bar soaps. We had to go to nearby store to buy shampoo. There is left over popsicle in the freezer and a full big bag of trash under the kitchen sink. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable, you can feel the coil of the mattress on every inch of the body. The king size bed blanket has cigaret burn.

We are retired and travel extensively in the US. Rooms were booked up in San Diego so my wife and I and my daughter made a reservation at Homestead. The rooms are only a step up from Motel 6 but are charged at twice the rate (even on a Fri nite offseason). No continental breakfast, wireless charge of $4.50 per day, no other amenities. Stay somewhere else...
