We're off to a bad start - I checked in yesterday. The weekly cleaning had not been done and the maid went in after I checked in - took the freshly opened hand soap and didn't replace it. The one complementary coffee that was supposed to be in the room wasn't. Other issues: one wastebasket for the whole place, no hair dryer or other bathroom amenities, inadequate towel bars for 2 (room had 2 queen beds), no front desk clerk at 7 a.m (supposed to open at 6:30), no coffee cups, coffee maker was sticky, mold around tub, security latch was loose - could move screws with fingers, closet door mirror was cracked, kitchen didn't have what I consider basics such as salt and pepper or paper towels, only 2 sets of dinnerware and silverware, no pitchers or bowls (cereal bowls only), not even pencil and paper! This is not going to be a comfortable situation for 2 people for a week.

I needed motel room where I could work and meet with clients. Homestead fills the bill. It is an extended stay location, with weekly housekeeping, but I don't get clean towels daily at home, so no problem. Room had a fridge, microwave and range. . No casino, which made it quieter, less smoky and more appropriate for client meetings. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room in good condition. Only difficulty. On Saturday I kept getting bumped from the internet connection. On Sunday and weekdays, it was excellent. No pool, which would have been a plus..

TERRIBLE
03/21/2007It was the worst place i have ever stayed! the customer service was not good at all. i would have rather stayed in my car!!
IT WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL. I WOULD HAVE RATHER STAYED IN MY CAR!!
