    Hello!

Thank you for reading my post as my fiance' & I had a terrible experiennce. They reservations was doomed from the beginning because the front desk lost our reservation. Then they tried to give us a much higher room rate than was negotiated. We finally went to our suite & heard mice & probably rats running throughout the walls. The building is an old apartment building that was jiffed into an All-suite hotel. Well, the gentlement at the front desk were all too friendly & wanted to know if you were all alone or not. That was all too CREEPY TO SAY THE LEAST!!! The neighborhood certainly left alot to be desired & it was filled with a bunch of 'derilicts' around the hotel. If it wasn't for a bad medical problem that I was dealing with &, no hotels available in the immediate area that were available to be booked so we stayed at this DUMP after we sprayed everything with lysol from floor to ceiling. They should've PAID US TO STAY THERE BUT THE MANAGEMENT WAS FAR FROM BEING INTERESTED IN OUR PROBLEM. THIS IS WHY WE FILLED this form out so no one else gets burnt & spends their hard-earned dollars there!!! THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT WAS FAR FROM INTERESTED IN RECONCILING THIS PROBLEM!!!

Nice and roomy with a full size refrigerator was what we needed. Neighborhood was a little suspicious with some seedy characters walking the streets. The breakfast attendant was grumpy. The pool is standard issue for a hotel. Fitness room was pretty good with a flat screen TV and plenty of fans to keep you company. Business center's printers didn't work most of the time. With so much free, I wonder why they still charge 75 cents per local call. Shuttle was regular and was convenient to send us to the local metro station where we used an all-day pass to visit the sites in Washington DC. Sofa bed was subpar though with dangerous metal edges for the little ones to get hurt on. Overall, I would come again because it is an overall good value for the price compared to others in the same area.

We stayed with our 4 children. The hotel is one of the few in D.C. that sleeps 6 in a suite. We had plenty of space but the hotel is not in a great neighborhood. It is showing its age and in need of renovation.
