  Our stay was everything we expected from a Marriott brand hotel, and more. The room was spacious, with 2 closets. We even used the sofa bed, which was surprisingly comfortable. The room was a one bedroom suite with two televisions, full kitchen and tub/shower area separate from the bathroom sink. The free breakfast is one of the better ones I've seen, with eggs, bacon, grits, waffles, yogurt, bagels, etc. One minor complaint - the free breakfasts appear to be used more frequently these days than in the past, probably due to the economy, so the room was often crowded and the food levels were frequently low. Even though the buffet is advertised until 10 or 11 am, they stop putting new food out a good half hour before the time is up. One morning we found very little left to eat in the last half hour. When the time is up, they are done and the food is quickly put away. The hotel was very clean, as well as the grounds. Front desk staff were polite and very helpful. Parking in the evening is limited. From Monday through Thursday they offer evening snacks from 6-7:30, which are quite substantial, well done and could easily substitute for a quick meal. We went downtown frequently in the evening - street parking meters are free after 6 pm. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from downtown - easy access once you figure out the street grids. The hotel does have decent maps and directions available for the asking. If you are looking for fast food, it is available within a few miles (turn left out of the hotel complex for downtown, right to find fast food). Lots of excellent dining downtown, but be prepared to walk several blocks to eat.

  My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. This place was great. We did not want to leave. Customer service was excellent. We enjoyed most the buffet style breakfast every morning and the activities during the week night accompanied by FREE FOOD! When we stayed, there was a BBQ night and sub sandwiches, etc on other nights. They provide a schedule of events. Lots of great food to choose from that was included with your stay. We slept like babies. The bed was so comfortable, we had to pull the sheets off to see what did the trick so we could try to duplicate it at home. California Dreaming was just around the corner. We visited this restaurant 2-3 times because it was so good. Overall, this was a great hotel for us. We got our room at a very reasonable rate.

  This hotel is very clean and well set up. It was very crowded the weekend we were there. Parking at the hotel could be improved as it appears that there are not enough parking spaces for this size hotel, compared to the number of rooms. We had to park in the grass across the street. Otherwise, it's a very nice place. I'll pick another weekend to try it again sometime.

  Large, nice rooms, pet friendly, loved the free evening cocktails & snacks, very helpful staff, great for kids, close drive to everything! highly recommend!!!

  The website shows that pets are welcome. Only after you get there do they reveal it is for $100 fee, non-refundable. I travel with a Service Animal, a Golden Retriever and had to fight with the desk clerk, no manager on duty, the calls going to India and so on for over an hour before I could check in even though I had the paperwork for the Service Animal. We finally got it resolved, but I did not know until I checked out two days later that I was not charged. I never did speak to a m
