My stay was during Tropical Storm Fay. Of the two nights we stayed, we were without power for nearly 24 hours. When everything is working smoothly, the hotel staff is pleasant and the rooms are comfortable. But the staff made little to no effort to ""go the extra mile"" when the lights were out. The breakfast is minimal, but adequate for our tastes. They had pre-packaged muffins and cereal, coffee, milk and juice. Free breakfast is always a good thing, as is free internet. The location is very convenient to UNF. If I can plan around storms, I will consider staying here again.

the carpet is very dirty I walked in my socks it was nasty, the tub needs to be refinished it will not come clean and that bother me, over all they tried to clean the room but those things need to be taken care of there is all ways a nasty smell in the hall ways and rooms smells very nasty for some reason I will not stay again. .

My 4 day stay here was Okay and a real bargain. It was a prime location for my business trip, being very close to St. Luke's Hospital and a quick 9 miles to Mayo Clinic. This Hotel was recently purchased by MicroTel Hotel chain from another independent company so they are in the midst of upgrading their amenities. Free local and LD calls was a plus. The free HBO was greatly appreciated as well. Its location being near several main highways allowing for me to learn the local area and quisine pretty quick in just 4 days. The afternoon traffic can get to be a bit hectec, but if you plan your itenary around, it can work out just great. The room is a bit small but not intolerably so. For a business trip for 1 or 2, its just the right size for the price. Situated near a Super Wal-mart with gas, it made for good gas purchases during the booking too with the added option to buy groceries and other supplies/needs.
