nice breakfast. Staff was easy to work with, but it did take two request for a rollaway. Second stay here in four years. There were a bunch of glass beer bottles in pool area, sign said no glass bottles.

I was starting a new job the next day. I told the front desk clerk that quiet was very very important. As it turns out he puts me in a room next to a family of very noisy people. At 4:00 am apparently one of them came home from partying and they continued in the room. These people were absolutely screaming at th top of their voice. Needless to say I was up at 4:00 am on didnt go back to sleep. In the morning I told the desk clerk who said that I was being unreasonable.

I stayed with my 9 year old daughter for a fall break vacation that I booked over the internet. This hotel only got 2 stars so I was a little concerned. The hotel is awesome and worthy of more than 2 stars. The room was clean and up to date and the staff is super nice and helpful. They will even cook your waffles for you in the morning. Location, location, location is the best. It sits right off the loop and San Jose Blvd. You can get downtown in ten minutes by way of San Jose Blvd. The loop will take you to any other man thoroghfair in the city. Bob Evans shares the same parking lot with the hotel and there are several restuarants in the area. There is a Target and Walmart less than five minutes away. The area is nice and felt save. The neighborhoods look to be upper middle class. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I have learned over the years to be careful about La Quinta hotels. Some have become old and the service is not great. The low price of this La Quinta hotel made me suspicious but I decided to give it a try based on other reviewer comments. I was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet. The staff was great. One even cooked my waffle for me at breakfast. The location was a little tricky to find in heavy traffic but it felt safe once we arrived. I would go back to this hotel even if the price was not so low.

This hotel is conventially located off the interstate, no guess work in finding your destination. The bed is so comfortable my son, which is four, asked if we could take it home with us. It felt like we were at a home away from home. I am planning an extended stay at this same hotel in the near future.
