  We were fools to stay here! After finding no vacancy at another motel we arrived at this property and were offered the last remaining room by the night attendant. There were cigarette burns (or similar) in the carpet and comforter but the room appeared clean and suitable otherwise. As my wife and kids and I prepared for bed however we discovered what appeared to be a "crack pipe" or similar drug paraphernalia in a drawer and noticed that the latch was broken on the door. It was late and we were all exhausted but called a few other motels to search for vacancies. Having no luck we contacted the attendant who was very gracious and apologetic for the disturbing situation. He restated that no other rooms were available but that he would compensate us for the room. Later that morning we went to checkout and were told by a new attendant that the night attendant had informed her of the situation but neither of them was authorized to comp a room and that since we had stayed in the room and eaten breakfast we would in fact have to pay. We of course asked to speak to a manager but were told none was on duty. When pressed, the attendant provided us with the number of the manager someone we were told was the manager. This person essentially reiterated what the attendant had told us. The attendant had two of the housekeepers accompany me to the room to retrieve the crack pipe. I opened the drawer and one of them picked it up and placed it in a Styrofoam cup. This was delivered to the attendant who placed it behind the front desk. In the end we were offered only some couppons out of this horrible experience.

  The shower floor was actually black with dirty grime. ants were marching around the sink. staff was friendly, but not helpful.

  I registered for a suite at this hotel. upon checking in i asked for a ground floor room, since my wife has a disability. the room (on the 3rd floor) ...

  I registered for a suite at this hotel. Upon checking in I asked for a ground floor room, since my wife has a disability. The room (on the 3rd floor) was dreadful; the door would not close without using a key, the whirlpool would only work by removing a grate and plugging the unit in, the A/C only half worked, and when I told the clerk we would not be staying, we were charged for a 1-night stay even though we were only in the room for about 4 hours. I WILL NEVER STAY AT A SLEEP INN AGAIN. NEVER. Thank you very much.
