  WE STAY HERE FOR ONE NITE AND IT WAS NOT PLEASANT. VERY NOISY RESTRAINT/BAR NEXT DOOR TILL AFTER 2AM. BEDS ARE HARD. WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN 10/11/08

  This was one of our worst hotel experiences ever. Travelodge needs to drop this particular hotel if it wants to keep its good name. We will probably never stay at a Travelodge again after this experience. You name it - there was something wrong. We stayed here because my son also needed a room in a hotel that would accept pets. When we called to make the reservation, we called the local hotel phone number. No one ever answered - that should have told us something right there. We accepted the "non-refundable" price for the room through the travel website, now knowiing that was a mistake. Once we arrived at the hotel and entered the room, it looked okay at first glance, except for the dirty carpet in front on the door where it looked liked someone had entered the room and tracked dirt in. We soon found many things wrong with the room. We put cans of soda in the refrigerator only to find frozen cans about to explode the next day. The temperator control in the refrigerator was non-existent. There was no shampoo, etc in the room at all. The pot to the coffee maker had a big crack in it, and I was afraid it was going to leak. I took it to the front desk and they told me just to try it out and see if it leaked. The pot in my son's room did leak, and was unusable. He also had no shampoo and soap in his room. The second day, maid service left us with hardly any towels. Also, there were cob webs in the corners of the room and a dead bug smashed on the back of the bathroom door. The rooms smelled terrible - like mildew. Also the microwave didn;'t work well.
