The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff that checked us in had a lot to be desired. The quote that was quoted online was different than what the hotel charged us by $. We asked for a late check out for the following day, the staff person stated that was fine, wrote it down, then neglected to give it to the proper personnel. We were contacted the following day checkout day and were informed that check out was at 1100 and we were late. Even though the personnel were very apologetic, it is still upsetting that information does not get passed along.

The hotel was okay, but I called and had to physically come get extra towels and other things. Also, there was some kind of wierd fungi growing in the hot tub, I would not recommend this place or go again.

I got in late at night and just needed a few hours sleep. When I got in my room, it stank of smoke, and I had booked a non-smoking room. the front desk said they had to swap my non-smoking room for someone else, and they may be able to bump someone else's reservation if I wait another hour or so (it was already past 2AM). When I finally got to bed and turned down the covers, there was a half-inch beetle or roach or something on the bed. I was so tired, I just brushed him aside and crashed for a few hours.

The hotel didn't have a baggage cart, the front desk offered a laundry bin, which was better than nothing! The internet didn't work, the n/s room smelled smokey. There was no handsoap in the bathroom, and when I asked the housekeeping for some, they had to really "dig" to find a bar of soap! There wasn't enough seating in the breakfast area and the small refridgerator with the milk and yogurt (I finally asked where the milk was on the second morning) was clear across the room from the other food! The room keys didn't work in the side/rear doors and finally there were no extra pillows in the room. I know these are the little things, but it's the little things that count! If this hotel weren't so conveniently located from my family and friends, we never would have endured! So, my suggestions to mgmt are: provide handsoap, get baggage carts, make sure nonsmoking rooms smell fresh, add more pillows, relocate the breakfast fridge closer to the food, provide more seating and make sure internet & roomkeys work!
