WORST. HOTEL. EVER.

I am a frequent work traveler, so I know my hotels... I'm pretty easy to please, don't need a lot of amenities or anything but COME ON this place was awful. As I discovered, this isn't the greatest area of Ft. Worth, but it was close to the non-profit agency where my meeting was and I wanted to be close... Furthermore, the hotel website is pretty deceptive - they've obviously tried to "modern" the place up, but when you see it in person it's unbelievably dated and in poor shape. Lesson learned: just because a hotel has a sleek looking logo and website, don't expect to get that when you arrive... Here were my main issues with the place... The room smelled like stale smoke, the reception on the TV was completely awful, the plumbing fixtures were rusty and old, and then the toilet went crazy on me at 5am. I don't mean to sound snobbish or anything, but if I pay $* a night for a hotel, I expect the toilet to work correctly. All in all, I was very annoyed because I drove up to Ft. Worth from Houston that day with the intention of getting a GOOD SLEEP and being refreshed the next morning for my event - which did not happen. I honestly should have saved my agency some money and just stayed in motel 6. Probably would have been better than this place.

I rented a room for a romantic evening. I told the Front Desk it was my anniversery and they upgraded us to a Jaccuzzi Suite had two large rooms with the Jacuzzi in the corner of the bedroom. We had a great time. The staff was really friendly and we will come back every year with this kind of treatment.

In ntown for a Conference , close to Downtown, I thought how bad can it be as a three *** Star hotel. OMG IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. Travel extensively , this was my worse experience to date, Toilet seat so worn out look like original when the hotel was built in the 60's. Popcorn ceiling drywall cracked and falling. When taking a shower you'll feel as though it's a bath as the water full over your ankles. Roaches come out at night. Tried changing rooms the next one smelled of mold and musty socks. Staff was professional but they should call Health Department and have the place condemned. The only improvement to this place would be to tear it down and start again. Stayed 2 nights end of September 2009. If your trying to rough it and want a hotel that is dirty , old, no security and tons of roaches then this is for you!
