I had a great stay @ Quality Inn & Suites at Bardstown Road in Louisville KY. The room was nice and clean as usual. The bed was very comfortable. The next day a great breakfast was served to me by a sweet old attendant. She had made a waffle for me. Now thats service.! The managers were very helpful in offering advice where to go for local attractions. The pool was clean and crispy blue waters were very inviting. I would stay at this hotel for the sheer joy of it. I recoomend this Quality Inn to anyone. If there is 5 star rating for any hotel then this is the one which deserves. Thanks

WATCH OUT FOR THE BED BUGS

WAS SUPPOSED TO STAY 2 NIGHTS- CHECKED OUT MIDDLE OF NIGHT ON FIRST NIGHT BECAUSE BED BUGS THE SIZE OF A PENCIL ERASER WERE CRAWLING ALL OVER BOTH BEDS AND BITING ME AND MY DAUGHTER- BUGS DIDN'T APPEAR UNTIL LIGHTS WENT OFF. FRONT DESK CLERK WOULDN'T SEND ANYONE UP TO SEE BUGS- TOLD ME HE COULD PUT ME IN ANOTHER ROOM - I TOLD THEM I SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED FOR ROOM- TOLD ME TO COME DOWN AND BRING KEYS AND THERE WOULD BE NO CHARGE. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT ANOTHER ROOM I WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT- EVEN THOUGH I WAS NOW 2 AM AND IT WOULD TAKE AT LEAST AN HOUR TO MOVE, WASH OFF, CHECK THE NEW ROOM FOR BUGS, AND GET TO SLEEP. I LEFT- HALLWAYS WERE VERY DIRTY- ROOM WAS DINGY.

I refused to stay at this property and I had to argue with my online travel website and the Quality Inn Manager to get a refund. It's dirty and disgusting-part of the door was missing so a rat or roach could easily join us, and mold was growing out of the coffee pot. The room was tiny and with a king size bed, but you had to take turns walking to the restroom area because the bed was too big for such a small room. Nasty place. I left their with a child and no other hotel reserved, but worth the hassle for our safety.

The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was good enough for a help yourself buffet. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I had an outside ground floor room with a lot of noise from the adjoining highways. If you stay here, try to get the second floor or inside room.

The overall experience with this hotel has always been good with me. This is been second time i stayed here. The reason to stay @ this hotel is , Their staff is very very friendly, honest and polite. I had lost a diamond wedding ring, i had lost all hopes of getting it, but thanks to the Housekeepers i got it next afternoon even after i had checked out. The Pool looked refreshing and sparkling waters invited me to take a dip. After the remodelling, this hotel is worth every dollar spent on it. I love to stay here whenever i am in Louisville.
