The employees of the hotel and restaurant were very pleasant and enjoyable. My only disappointment was that I had reserved a "view room" and my view was of an Arco gas station and a car dealership. That did not make me happy, but one of the things that I do enjoy about San Francisco is the architecture and I couldn't even enjoy the distant houses and buildings because the windows were so dirty. I would never have paid the extra for a "view room" if I had known this was the view I was to be given.

A great place. Great location easy to use public transportation all over the area. Many great bistro's with in a few blocks. Had a wonderful time and will go back. Buy your bus/trolly pass at the gift shop and save a few $$ Staff was very helpful, rooms very clean, great views! We did a long weekend getaway. Everything was as we expected. Muni bus ride was a short 15-20 min to Fishermans Wharf. Use public transportation as parking can cost as much as $* a day. Some great place's to eat and drink on Polk St. a block from the hotel.

My Boyfriend and I stayed here last week while on of our first visit to San Francisco and we couldn't have been happier! The hotel is in the perfect location for all we wanted to do. Which was wonderful considering I went in blind booking cause I had never been to this city. The room was clean, people friendly, and again the location rocked!!! I could sit here all day expressing how pleased we were! It was scary to pick a hotel in a town your not familiar with but for us it was perfect!!! Buses and cable cars where all in close walking distance which took you to all the great tourist attractions! It was great! I would stay here again and hope too! I am not a review writter but we were so happy with the hotel that I couldn't see not writing one to help others who are having a hard time choosing like I did. Stay here, buy a bus pass or walk and go! It was a great experience!!!!

08/11/2008Room was ready. the bed was comfortable, larger flat screen tv. free wireless internet. very close to sf attractions. staff was very helpful.

Room was impeccable. Conveniently located at the end of the cable car line for easy accessibility to many attractions. Staff was very helpful. Parking is * per day, but with in/out privledges. Parking ramp is patrolled for good security. Also hotel elevators require room key for added security. By SF standards, this was a great value and I would definitely stay again.
