The hotel was very nice and clean, however it wasn't very sound proof. We were on the second floor and there was a wedding going on in the banquet room on the first floor. And it was so loud! I called the front desk at 11:30pm to ask what time the music would stop and she said they were "trying to get them to wrap things up quickly". My other big complaint was the stairwells, the hotel was so nice but it had the stairwells equivelant to a parking garage, cement with metal stairs. Our room was right next to the stairwell and you could hear a loud banging noise when someone was walking up the stairs. Thankfully for our sake most people must have used the elevators. The fitness center was nice it had a couple treadmills, couple elipticals, maybe a bike, free weights up to 45lb or so, bench, exercise ball, exercise mat, water jug, cool towels. The business center had 2 computers with free internet access and free printing. The beds were super comfortable and had nice white linens on the pillows. When we checked in we were told the hotel was at capacity so we didn't get the room we booked. To compensate they gave us mini fridge at no cost. The window in our room opened only about a foot or so and there was no screen. There was a loud generator below that was unpleasant for sound and view. Basically I think we were a victim of circumstance. If we would have stayed during the week and there wasn't a wedding and soccer tournament going on we probably would have gotten a better room, instead of getting the leftovers and being stuck above the wedding and next to a stairwell.

We had an excellent experience with this hotel. We were in town for a concert at Deer Creek, we had to go directly to the concert when we got in town, so we were due to check-in late in the evening. We called the hotel, they checked us in over the phone, so when we actually got to the hotel after midnight, they basically handed us the keys on our way to the room. The room was very clean and well suited for our needs. We attended a concert the next night as well, the location relative to the ampitheater is great, only a few miles down the highway. The next day, check-out was a breeze.

I RECENTLY VISISTED INDIANAPOLIS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND NEEDED A HOTEL THAT WAS CLOSE TO WERE I WAS GOING TO BE AT.I WAS GLAD TO NO THAT THE HILTON INDIANAPOLIS NORTH WAS AVAILIBLE.I NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE AT ANY HILTON HOTELS THAT I'VE STAYED AT.THIS WAS ANOTHER SATISFIED STAY AND I ENJIYED THE DECOR OF THE HOTEL.THANKS HILTON...
