Based on past reviews, I was nervous....but VERY pleasantly surprised!! Especially for the very inexpensive rate, it was a great stay! The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was large and comfortable, and the indoor heated pool and hottub was a nice bonus. It was very convenient having the fridge/microwave in our room. The TV was very clear and had lots of channels. The room was clean and for a budget hotel chain, well maintained and updated. It is conveniently located close to downtown, attractions, shopping, and tons of restaurants. I felt very safe for the entire visit and would totally recommend this property to others and will be staying here often (as it is midway between a friend and my house). Great bargain for a great stay!

Travelodge Macon GA Well okay the best thing about this hotel was the front dek she was very sweet,helpul,and kinda A+ for the front desk help now on to the hotel itself dirty,smelly,and disgusting..When I got to my room with my 3 children the first thing my five year old sees is a roach crawling up the wall (NASTY) we get in kill it then unpack and there was a odor that just would not go away I tried to febrezze the room and all but nothing it was there for the long haul,well there was a microwave and mini fridge so I went to the store and got some snacks for the kids and drinks thats was nice to be able to save a few bucks well next morning went down for breakfast not much to chosse from kids were complaining it tasted like dirt so the snacks came in handy,my coffee did not taste like coffee to watered down so that was a waste got ready to get showers then I look up and another roach was on the celing,later that eveing I took kids down to the lovely INDOOR POOL what a joke that was there was a strong smell of chemicals and the kids did not enjoy there selfs at all they stayed in all of ten minutes,so all in all I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would much rather spend a few extra dollars next time for something better...Thank You

When checking in the lady at the desk tried to put me in a room with 2 double beds - reservation was for 1 king bed. I made reservation early in the day - arrived at about 11pm and the air was not on in the room and the temperature had been a 100+ that day so therefore it took about 3 hours for the room to start to cool off. The room had a bad odor, the bed was hard, the shower curtain had mold on it. Not a good stay even for a few hours. I will never stay there again.

I booked 2 rooms here knowing we would get in lateand leave early. The proximity to the interstate made it ideal. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and attended to. The water pressure in the shower (important to me!) was great, and I found it entertaining that there was a phone in the bathroom in addition to the bedroom. Nice, quiet stay. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool or continental breakfast due to our arrival/departure times. My only suggestion would be to add a complementary shampoo/conditioner. The fridge and microwave were clean and worked well. We'll stay here againwhen opportunity arises.
