The hotel is older but very clean. The lobby area is quite pretty with the plants water pond etc. The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help. Small fitness center but then again most places don't have a large one. There is a train that runs near the hotel but I didn't find it bothered us. I believe it was mostly a short commuter train and it didn't blow a whistle.

The hotel staff was not friendly nor was my room ready upon arrival. They did not accomodate me for the inconvenience but gave me the worst possible view...of the roof top AC unit. I explained that I was a SPG Gold member and AMEX Gold card carrier and it made no difference. The cleanliness was a joke. I asked to have my room cleaned over and the housekeeper showed me some mixed products in un-labeled bottles and explained that this was all she was provided with for sanitization. I thought the rooms might be too good to be true for the value and I was right! They weren

The rooms were nice, but weren't ready upon checking in. Moved us to better room with better view. Front Desk staff at hotel weren't friendly at all when walking in, walking out, and/or walking by. No acknowledgment at all. How rude! Restaurants for breakfast and dinner were too expensive. No Bang for your Buck! I was totally shocked at the prices! So happy that familiar restaurants were nearby and easy to find. Extra Plus! Thumbs Up for free internet services. A1A Beach was convenient (10-15 minute drive). Another Extra Plus! Minutes from Miami and shopping. Free parking at hotel when you rent a car, but forget about a parking space after 11PM. No where to park, you have to circle around and search. Parking in back was semi-lit.

The room was nice but not prepared for occupancy. No information or enough linen for a family of four. When we approached the front desk personnel , they were cold and didn't want to be bothered. Location was great. I would stay again, maybe they were having a bad day.
