The rooms I booked were non-smoking rooms. When we arrived, they said they did not have any non-smoking rooms. Finally, they found one and the other was smoking. We went to check into the smoking room and the smell was horrible. We could not have slept in that room. About an hour later, he called to tell us he had a cancellation and we got another non=smoking room. I was not pleased that the booking online was totally different from what the checkin said was available. It makes me not want to book online again.

We booked this hotel based on the overwhelming postive remarks. Yes, the staff was nice and the rooms were prepared. However, there is a huge difference between being clean and being polished. By no means did this affect our sleep, but the curtains had paint on them and the fridge was scratched & marked. The room itself was one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever stayed. The pool was dingy and I wouldn't let the kids swim in it. The pop machine was out of order. Old matresses were piled up in the hallway. About 50% of the other guests staying there were construction workers and truck drivers - not neccessarily family friendly. The walls were paperthin so I heard the outdoor get-together (which was relatively quiet) go on until 3 am. If you are looking for a inexpensive place to stay, this is the spot for you. Personally, I will spend the extra $* a night for a better hotel.

Super 8 was a nice motel that meet my family's basic needs on our recent trip to a family reunion. the room was clean and comfortable. amazingly the air conditioner unit did not aggrevate my allergies, which was a first. the staff was friendly and helpful. the WIFI was a great asset, but be warned it is unsecured. my children's requirement was for the motel had a pool. it was a nice clean pool. was very pet friendly. the pet owners had some very nice animals. they were quiet and well behaved. the cleaning staff was very efficient. i would use this motel the next time i need to go to Knoxville, TN.

quite happy with this motel, it was convient, right off I-40. close to Turkey Creek Shopping Center. plenty of resturants in the area. room was clean. had the necessities... bed and a bath. we didn't plan to spend our whole trip in the motel. the pool was well maintained and my children took advantage of it whenever possible. staff was informational and helpful. cleaning staff did a wonderful job. grateful they had WIFI available since i left all my maps and information at home. it is unsecured. they do have a computer available in the lobby for guest use. didn't take advantage of the contintal breakfast...since there was a Cracker Barrel just on the other side of the I-40 bridge. building seemed well maintained and gave the impression that they are constantly making improvements. dogs were welcomed, and there is adquate ground for potty visits... would use this hotel on my next trip. the price was right for what i needed. i highly recommend this motel.
