Overall my stay at Residence Inn by Marriott Montgomery was fair. The people at the front desk was very cordial; however, I would like to comment on three issues. Firstly, I like sleeping on a firm pillow. There were four pillows on the bed and they all were as light as a feather. Secondly, the bathroom had no grab bars over the tub or on the wall. In my opinion, this is a safety issue for senior citizens like myself and children. I love to soak in the tub, but I had to shower because it would have been a struggle getting out of the tub with no grab bar and I was alone. (A grab bar is a big helper getting in and out of the shower also) Thirdly, as I was preparing to check out a huge cock roach slowly crawled from the bath room towards the bed. I quickly got my luggage packed and left. While driving around to the front office to check out, the guest card came to mind because it was my intention to enter my first and second comments on the card but in my rush, after I was the big critter, I forgot. Nevertheless, I did voice my concerns to the receptionist at the front desk. She was very apologetic. Will I come again? I will give it some thought and make sure that all of my concerns are addressed before registering. Sincerely, Mary Ellen Gulley

I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The room was much larger then I expected...sofa, chair, fireplace, full kitchen...it had everything. Very clean. The FREE breakfast buffet was great! everything you could think of almost (except for meat). The only negative I have would be the slow drain in the shower.

We were very pleased with our stay. It was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect. My only complaint was the small size of the T.V. When we travel now, you see flat screens on the walls and I was shocked at the tiny T.V. and no movie channel. If they replaced the T.V.s the suite would be perfect.
