  This place is a must to avoid everyone . We stayed 3 nights as we had reservations and the price was so cheap $40 per night that we toughed it out . Located just off I 85 in the City of Charlotte you are first greeted by your long term residents who become overly friendly and panhandle right in the parking lot. We only slept in the rooms , days spent in NASCAR country . The residents are kept on one side of motel as the travelers are put in another .
  First room was smoke filled , changed to another that was better. Mattresses were bearable but entire feel of establishment boarded on unsafe. Located Off of I 85 go just a few miles north and you will find motels 100% better , safe and clean. We encountered vacationers who were picked up by their shuttle from airport only to relaize they were stuck . One sleazy restaurant nearby after 5 minute dangerous walk on busy street with no sidewalks. No transportation to track for races !!! Better have a car . Better yet keep driving !! This place was the pits . If you can get it for under $40 a night and want an adventure , take a chance , but I think you are better off gambling somewhere else outside of the City limits that do not have to cater to welfare residents . You have been warned . benzee

  this was the worst place I have ever seen and if it wasnt for us arriving at 1:30 a.m. and leaving at 6:30 a.m. i would of walked in and walked out. the rooms smelled horribly the ceiling must have leaked and the water stains were ridiculous, the bathroom tile's were falling off the walls, it was dirty and you left feeling like you had bugs all over you

  Total roach motel, including roaches! disgustingly dirty, leaky toilet, bare light fixture, reaked of smoke smell. will never ever stay there again.

  The room we had was ""non-smoking"", but the bath tub had about 20 burn ""scars"" where cigarettes had been left, and the room smelled like old smoke. the room ...

  The room we had was ""non-smoking"", but the bath tub had about 20 burn ""scars"" where cigarettes had been left, and the room smelled like old smoke. The room was fairly clean, but had the feel of a room from the 70's that was begging for a make-over. The iron had ""hojo"" written on it, maybe recycled from Howard Johnson. Only cups in the bathroom were unwrapped and styrofoam.
