My Husband and I checked into this hotel and noted there is only 1 restaurant, and it is not full service. It really is just a bar with a 6 item menu. The room was very large, yet the doors to outside were screwed shut and the windows don't open. The staff was very friendly, but that didn't make up for the single elevator which was broken most of our 3 day stay. Since the bar/restaurant does not have a ""normal"" menu, this is not a good place for a family to stay. If you are just looking for a large clean room directly across the street from Dutch Wonderland this is a good value for the money. If you want anything more, look elsewhere.

Ok, I am supposed to be here all week for business, but I am checking out after one day. This hotel is dirty,dirty,old, and dirty. My room does not look like they even swept it. There are food crumbs and not just little ones but a whole peanuts all over the floor. The bathroom has mold, the room smells bad. The staff took 30 minutes to check me in because there were 3 people in front of me complaining, I should have ran after listening to the complaints but I am ussually a laid back person. I travel all over for work and this is the worste hotel I have stayed at in a long time. I paid $* for my room but honestly this should have been about a $* room. Do yourself a favor and skip it..

This is an excellent hotel for families with small children who maybe interested in visiting the Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park (across the street) Huge indoor pool, huge outdoor pool (being refurbished the weekend we visited). Breakfst very good, but not very well organized. Not really well set up for the number of guests the hotel accomodates. Staff friendly and accomodating. Our rom was HUGE, larger thn our living room at home. If you are concerned about security, (we were not) the outdoor door we used was broken and did not lock. But well lighted parking area in front, elevator avalilable in lobby area, but it appears that this is an older hotel that has been converted and updated. Would recommend this to people who like children, if you do not like kids, stay somewhere ekse. The hotel was packed when we visited. Did not use the indoor pool due to the number of children and the amount of noise in an enclosed space. But would stay here again.

When we arrived on Sunday afternoon we found that the handicapped lift from the parking lot to the lobby was out of order. We presumed that a repairman was difficult to locate on Sunday and the lift would be fixed on Monday. Monday afternoon we returned to the hotel
and the lift was still not fixed and we had to carry our 13 yr old son up the stairs in his wheelchair once again. He could not go to the indoor or ourdoor pools as they were accessible only by stairs. We found the inspection sticker on the llift was expired TWO YEARS
ago. Location is great but hotel needs MAJOR remodeling to accomodate travelers in the
21st century!! -

Service was friendly enough and room was clean but the washroom had a urine smell to it at times. Ice machine, ATM machine and pop machine were broken and we had internet issues to deal with as well
