Recently renovated facilities. Staff excellent all around. $2 bottle beer @ happy hour 3-7pm every day. Large pool w/ 2 jaccuzi's, outdoor bar and a very large TV in the pool area. Rooms were comfy and roomy. Definite my preferred place in Palm Springs.

The Holiday Day Inn at Palm Springs made our stay very enjoyable. Our room was spotless, well decorated and larger than we expected. We were very comfortable in this room, considering we were traveling with our two small dogs and our two bikes plus all the gear! The walls seemed a little thin since we could hear our neighbors' conversation, albeit muffled, the entire stay. Luckily we were so exhausted from our activities that we didn't lose any sleep over it. Our room was equipped with a flat screen TV and mini fridge. The front desk was very attentive. Whenever we requested an item, even bringing a microwave to our room, the staff was responsive and efficient. Thank goodness check-out is at noon though because a front desk staff member seemed reluctant to allow us a late check-out. Overall, a great value and centrally located!

We booked a golf outing a couple of weeks in advance. Who knew it would rain the whole time out in the desert, I mean it poured. Ok, so we ended up staying in the room most the time and rented 3 movies on the big flat screen TV and ordered food and drinks through room service. All and all it cost less than a round of golf and definitely was more relaxing. In the evening we cleaned up and went to the hotel bar for a while, then ate in the restaurant. My steak was perfect. Sorry we were cheated out of golf but the hotel accommodations and crew made the stay fun anyway.

Rooms were very nice with lots of upgrades, we were in one room and was unable to order movies we called the front desk and they were happy to change our room. Location was great next to downtown and attractions.

09/14/2008We though this was a top of the line hotel !! very clean, very quick service, very nice people working there. the pool is great! we will stay there every time ...
We though this was a TOP OF THE LINE HOTEL !! Very clean, Very quick service, Very nice People working there. The pool is GREAT! We will stay there every time we go to Palm Spring.
