We thought that the hotel was very nice. The decor was Spanish style and it fit in well with the Monterey historical theme. The firepit, landscaping and walkways were all very nice. The beds were very comfortable and definitely along the lines of a 5 star hotel. My one major complaint was that the walls seemed to be paper thin. Unfortunately you can hear noises coming from all directions. That was very annoying! But overall the hotel was a pleasant experience.

I recently stayed at The Casa Munras hotel I loved it and will return again great pool assome staff I got a free upgrade had aroom with fire place the spa was wonderful as well i will deffinatley be back and i'm telling every one i know what a great time i had at Casa Munras hotel.

I thought this was going to be an amazing place to stay for a mini romantic getaway but it was not. The walls are too thin that we were able to hear everything that the people up stairs were doing and some one was also playing music in one of the rooms it was annoying because we didn't want to hear that. in addition the way the room was set up didn't make sense. the bed was facing on way and we had to look to the right in order to even watch tv (from the bed) and i found that to be annoying. to me it was like a motel more then a hotel. and it also has a more motel look to it and for what we paid i wish it would have been better... bathroom was ok.... shower room was small. but the one good thing about it was that the bed was grate!

The hotel was nice and the rooms and property are cute. It did seem small and there was no airconditioning so the room was a little stuffy at night but overall we had a good experience. It seemed a little pricey for what we got but it also seemed as though most hotels in Monterey were pricey. The desk staff were extremely nice and we had a very romantic dinner in the on site restauraunt. They had a guitar player and the meal was very good. We had told them it was our anniversary and they even brought us a complimentary desert with a candle on it! Very sweet! We would recomend this property to our friends.

I booked the hotel without knowing anything about it, it was a great experience, the rooms were big, very clean, hospitality was great and the staff were helpful and location is excellent close to main attractions in Monterey I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
