  I have stayed in many different hotels. I have had some good experiences as well as not so good experiences. This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a review. My stay at the Holtze Executive Village was simply the worst I've ever experienced. My terrible experience started from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. I feel I must write this review because when I tried to voice my complaints at the hotel NO ONE seemed to care. I'm not sure if this is because they don't care about the complaints or if they get complaints so often they are numb to them at this point. My room was dirty, especially the bathroom where there was hair all over the floor and some in the bathroom. My room was pretty big for the money but it was filthy. Every corner had dirt or cobwebs showing. The bed was old and smelled bad. The sheets were thin and scratchy. I've never stayed in a more uncomfortable bed. My room smelled musty. There were burns in the couch. The couch was sinking in the middle and actually made a "breaking" sound every time I sat in it. The fireplace did not work. The free food advertised on the website was pathetic. I guess you pay for what you get. Going through this makeshift buffet gave me the feeling of being in the army and not a feeling of staying at a nice hotel. I was ridiculed by the employees when I asked how long this food had been sitting out. Check out was a nightmare full of additional employee comments that made me believe this place has heard more than it's fair share of complaints. Don't stay here.

  We've stayed in nice hotels before; this is one of our favorites. I particularly liked the walk-in closet and comfortably-sized, nicely decorated bathroom. The hotel provides a good selection of cold and hot breakfast items, and the staff was polite and helpful. Once we looked a map, we could find our way to every part of the city we needed to go.
