Room was dirty, noisy, drug deals going on next to our room, gun shots out of the room next to ours at 6am. Did not sleep a wink and couldn't get out quick enought. Complained to front desk about gunfire and was told that they didn't hear it.

The neighborhood the hotel was in was relatively decent, although a little loud. The guy at the desk was great, real friendly. He was the only staff member I had contact with until I checked out. When he gave me my room number I had a hard time finding it although I was given accurate directions where the room was. There was, however, no number on the door. I was not sure if it was a custodian closet or someone elses room. When I went inside the room smelled disgusting. It had the smell of moisture and cigarette smoke. I had requested a non smoking room and obviously did not get one. There were ants dead all over the sink. Obviously the hotel knew about the incident because bug cleaner had been sprayed to kill the ants. However, throughout the time I was in the hotel I noticed ants crawling all over the sink, the wall and ceiling by the sink. They were confined to that corner of the room. I'm not exactly sure why. I consistently had to keep wiping the ants off the wall. After that incident I took my shoes off only to step in gum that had been ground into the carpet. It was not fresh gum but was still sticky. And to add to the experience I found dirty makeup containers on the floor covered by the blankets that hung over the bed. To add to the experience, the air conditioning didn't work. It blew warm air around the room. I should have complained but I didn't. I'm not the type to do so. I dealt with it. I just left early in the morning my last day and prepared to tell the person at the desk, but no one was there at those hours.

The neighborhood the hotel was in was relatively decent, although a little loud. The guy at the desk was great, real friendly. He was the only staff member I had contact with until I checked out. Left after 2 nights of 4 night trip
07/07/2007The rooms are very outdated and smelly. the outside entrances are covered in carpet which reeked of urine. the comforters had burn holes. sheets were dirty.

Room 231 was clean and reasonable, but the outdoor carpeted walkways and stairs were indescribably filthy. Beyond disgusting. The third floor was chained off, supposedly for renovations. The pool was closed. The neighborhood is skanky. Good price, convenient location, but way too dingy - glad I was traveling alone.
