The clerk warned DH upon check in that he may smell cigarettes but that would be from another floor. Well, the room reeked and there were cigarette burns on the sheets. This was not the queen, non-smoking room he reserved, but a king bed on the top floor. Who in their right mind puts smoking floors on the bottom! :>( Yes, the place is showing its age and it was clean, if you could look past the burn marks in the bathroom and on the nightstand. Good thing that we did not take DS who has asthma set off by cigarette smoke. Best thing about it that it cost about $100 less than the place he needed to be right across the interstate.

Hotel was located 2 miles from balloon festival. The breakfast was nice and the staff friendly and very helpful.Bring your own pillows, because these are the ones that are huge and will hurt your neck. The rooms were average and they were clean.But I did have a complaint and they did nothing about it. That was disappointing. It could have been fixxed.

the hotel was located near the balloon fiesta, but the area was industrial and run down. there was also no place to eat nearby, and we spent hours looking for a place to eat with two hungry kids. the hotel is showing its age, shabby at best. The continental breakfast was ok, but no place to sit.The staff was friendly. this is what you get for a one star.
