The two main reasons I chose this hotel is because the advertise shuttle service from the airport and a fridge and microwave in the room. When I got to Austin Airport, I found that they don't have shuttle service, and it cost me $35 each way to take a taxi. There was no microwave in the room, and their "onsite" restaurant was closed the entire time I was there, although they did have the complimentary breakfast as promised.
While I was there, there was a large group of young people staying there working on a presidential political campaign. While they used one of the meeting rooms, when they broke up into groups, they decided they would use the hallway, so everytime I went from my room to the lobby, I had to climb over people and walk through their meeting to get there. When I asked the front desk to ask them to not block the hallway, the attitude I got was that they were a big group. Basically the hotel was making a lot of money off them, and the heck with the rest of us. If you go there, check with them first if they are having any big groups there.
The hotel was clean, and the bed was comfortable. -

A colleague and I stayed here for the UIL State Meet in 2007. This is a great value for it's location and amenities. The fitness roomed looked clean and well equipped, the beds were clean and comfortable, and the in-house restaurant has an awesome breakfast with fresh fruit, self-serve waffles, and your usual continential breakfast staples.
The negatives are few, but apparent. At the time of our stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations in one part during the day, but at night all worked stopped, so it was sweet dreams. The television in our room was faulty, flickering in and out of color and black and white, but the channels came in clear and in abundance. The TVs have probably been replaced by now, so I wouldn't worry.
Overall, this isn't the fanciest hotel around, but the location and value make hard to resist. I would gladly stay here again. -

This is an older property but the room had been recently remodeled and was in good shape. The Room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the free breakfast was good (even if it was on paper plates).

the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The carpet was duct taped in the hall. Our room had MOLD on the wall and the bathroom smelled like mold and had some mold. I told them about it but nothing was done. The whole place smelled. The only good thing was the buffet breakfast and it was acceptable.
