I checked in to the Comfort Inn (MT037) in room number 206 S3A, at 1918 North Merrill Avenue, Glendive, Mt. 59330, I paid by debit card and agreed to pay a charge of * for one night for one person. I left there the next morning the 11th at around 9am. I was traveling from New York to Laurel, Mt. to see my ailing father. I took a business card and a comment card to send to the main offices of the Comfort Inn as I was very dissatisified with the accomadations and the service. The staff was very rude and very unhelpful. It was supposedly a non'smoking room but it reeked of smoke. Also, the room was unclean, lamps were not working (for lack of new lightbulbs), and the telephone service was not available. I was looking up my debit charges on my on-line bank account on Oct. 12th and found there was an un-authourized charge for 100 on Oct. 11. The charge they say is for cat litter on the floor. I did not have a cat with me. The room was already dirty and other facilities were not working such as the jucuzzi. I have contacted the complaint division of Comfort Inn as well as my bank. When I called to ask the manager about the charge I was told she wasn't there and wouldn't be back in for a week. That is when I called the complaint division of The Comfort Inn. It is still unresolved.

It was easy to get to MIS. It rained on Sunday, so we played cards in the lobby after we checked out, waiting for the rain to end. Our bathroom light flickered and maintainence came within 5 minutes to fix it. The staff was friendly. Although the room was sparsely decorated, it was clean.

dirty rooms
08/02/2006We were 3 ua teachers in 3 seperate rooms all complaining of the same problems;dirty,unconcered staff,cheap coffee,etc.......
