Stayed at Fiesta Resort in Tempe last night. From the pictures, I was expecting something a little nicer. It's not terrible, but just not what I expected. Cons: My husband and I both agreed that the place looks like a collection of college dorms. We stayed on the second floor and unfortunately there are no elevators near the rooms (at least we didn't see any), which makes it tougher to get all your luggage to the room in 100 degree heat. Oh well, no biggee. The free wifi is not that great. For the most part, it is a weak signal which requires you to sign in over and over. Pros: On the upside, the rooms are nice looking on the inside. There are mini refridgerators and coffee pots. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom looks newly renovated, i.e. nice tile and granite countertops. You get what you pay for and the price was very good, so I won't complain much.

Upon arriving at the resort, our first room had poor air conditioning. It was very humid in the room even after leaving the a/c on for a few hours. I had to get a second room, that room had better air conditioning, but it took a few hours for the room to cool down. I think there was too much furniture in the room and the bathroom had no ventilation. There were also worms around the pool area and in my daughter's bathing suit! Overall, I wasn't impressed. :(
