I booked this room online from home to see my husband graduate from BCT. I pulled the money I budgeted out of our account for my trip. They took my card upon check in stating it was to pull up my reservation. I stayed for 3 nights. When I woke up graduation morning there was a receipt slipped under my door showing that my check card had already been charged for my stay the day I checked in. I was never asked if that was the form of payment I wanted to use. Most avid travellers know that it is normal to settle your charges upon check out. It was fortunate for all parties involved that I had the $175 in my account to cover the charges. I can't imagine what would have happened if I did not and found out about it later. I emailed the headquarters with my complaint (after reading the same complaint from other travelers that stayed at this location) and didn't even get so much as a generic email response! Shame on them! My floor was a warzone from construction (although I was fortunate that my room itself had already been remodeled and updated with nicer furnishings) There should be discount rates to the travelers that are on floors under construction for the noise and ripped apart hallways complete with obstacles and hurdles. Overall I would not recommend staying at this hotel. There are plenty others that are in this price range that are reputable. Just keep in mind if you do stay here to say something upon check in if you intend to pay in cash. You could end up with charges if you are a cash/traveler's check budgeter like me when you travel.

My daughter & I stayed 3 days/ 2 nights. Our room was close to the elevator. It was so noisy we couldn't sleep. I asked for another room, but it was sold out, none available. After 12 hrs of flying & layovers, etc., we were exhausted. I have never stayed in a hotel/inn that the elevator was so loud. The walls even vibrated. Our stay was absolutely horrible. I'll never stay at a la Quinta inn again.

We arrived at 12am on our appointed day and our room was still available which was good. However, the Inn is undergoing an extensive remodel while operating and did not appear clean. Our beds were only doubles, we expected queens and one of them had a long(about 24 inches) black hair in the sheets.(My hair is short and blonde) We did not sleep in that bed but I could'nt help question the sanitation. I reported it but did not feel it made a difference. The garbages were not emptied, our paper cups not replaced, I could not tell that any vacumning ever occurred, and the furniture looked to be vintage in a grimy sort of way. In short, my overall trip was great but I dreaded coming back to the Inn each night and would not recommend this facility nor will I ever stay in another one. On a postive note, except for the lack of cleanliness, the front desk staff was pleasant if ineffective.

Staying here during renovations was like living in a war zone. Our room was dark, worn and dirty; stray potato chips, unknown pills, and bobby pins were found on the stained carpet. The bathroom was grisly: mildewed and cracked tiles, slow-draining pipes and W/C, and a large, gross patch over a badly-rusted-out bathtub. We decided to leave ASAP, rather than shower in that filth. As Returns members, we felt badly cheated by the cost of the room.. The staff was friendly, but the facilities are the worst La Quinta we've encountered to date.
