In reviews I read before I chose this hotel, it mentioned the shuttle bus that would take you to the Metro (2 blocks away if it is raining, late, or snowing.) However, it doesn't begin running until 7 a.m.(too late if you have a meeting to get to, etc.) Shuttle buses should begin to run at 6 a.m. at least--or for this location, be available as needed by guests--and more frequent. Other than that, the hotel was great. Full breakfast was very good--they do need to add more tables in the morning--not enough places to sit. add another computer in the business center.

We stayed at this hotel last winter for a Redskins game. Close to everything, great breakfast, friendly people, could walk or take free shuttle to the mall down the street. We are attending another game this year and will be booking here. Have three teenagers with us, 17, 16, 15 and they loved the place too. Very secure, worth the extra to park in deck. It usually takes me 3 or 4 days to search the internet and select a hotel that has everything everyone wants, but not this year. We'll be back to this Residence Inn.

Clean,comfortable rooms, two blocks from the metro line, an extensive selection of hot and cold complementary breakfast items, in-room frig and microwave ,and pool and work-out area make this hotel a great value for the money. Access to the metro is just two blocks away at the Fashion Centre Mall. This provides easy access to all of the city-- and places to eat, shop and relax when the day is finished. Staff is friendly and helpful. Some evenings light supper items and complementary wine, beer and soda were also available. Very convenient to Reagan Airport by metro, taxi or hotel shuttle. This was a great value for our sightseeing in expensive Washington. Hotel also provides internet access for checking e-mail and printing boarding passes. What's not to like !

Brought my daughter here for her "graduation" gift. We absolutely loved it! The hotel was excellent in every way. The location is right across from the Pentagon with a great view of it from every floor when you exit the elevator. The metro is about 2 blocks or a 5 minute walk away and will take you anywhere you could want to visit for about $1.35 each way. They gave us a free shuttle to the airport and back and offered to give us a free shuttle to the metro or shopping center but we walked since it was so close. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Our room was clean and very nice. The breakfast buffet was not just continental style...it had everything...eggs, sausage, waffles, french toast, pancakes, cereal, muffins, fruit, grits etc.... fantastic and saved us alot of money.! They even have a free popcorn & ice cream sundae bar and movie on thursday evenings which was very nice! If I ever come back to d.c. i will be staying here!
