Rooms and beds were a little small. Not very comfortable for 4 people. Beds made,but sheets were stained. Had to call housekeeping, they took too long to get there. Customer Service was not very helpful. Bathroom shower pressure very poor and bathtub was pretty outdated.Didn't understand why the display of a rainbow flag with a California Flag & USA Flag. Our state and country flag shoul stand alone.

We stayed for four nights and we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooms however are dated and small. The air conditioning was marginal. The water preasure was non existent and the temperature in the shower varied greatly. You literally got in the shower and prayed that the water would hold until you could rinse off without getting burned or freezing. The rooms were also noisy, with every word spoken in the hallway heard in the rooms and noise from adjoining rooms both from above and next door. The hallway into the parking garage smelled of fish and brocolli for the entire stay. Not a bad hotel, but definitely not what I expect when I reserve a Hilton room.

This was my first time staying at a Hilton anywhere. The one in the Mission Valley area of San Diego is in a great location. I felt close to everything from shopping, the zoo, Sea World, Down Town, Old Town, Coronado, and on and on. The building itself is beautiful and well kept. The room I stayed in was spacious with all the amenities that anyone could want. The most impressive was the service from the front desk. Throughout the day I would call or stop by to ask for suggestions from where to eat in a certain neighborhood to activities to where to shop. They always had the best ideas. It truly made it easy for me to get around and adventure off for something different every day.

I travel often for my job and am always weary of going to a new hotel. I was unable to get into my usual hotel in the Mission Valley, so I tried this hotel instead, as I am a Hilton Honors member. I was quite surprised and had a wonderful stay. When I arrived to the hotel the Valets opened my door for me and held my car as I checked in. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. In order to do self parking (* per day normally but I got a package deal that included parking) I had to go by a parking booth with attendant which I liked because some hotels do not monitor their parking lots very well. My room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. I got a great view of the valley which was very pretty at night as the sun set. Great service in the restaurant and with room service--loved the breakfast buffet. Got options to keep to my low carb diet, which was great! Was so impressed, next time I'm in San Diego I will be staying here.
